WHEELED VEHICLES IN BALMORAL
We have been seeing many more unregistered wheeled vehicles in Balmoral. We would like to share the below information that clarifies what each of these are:
Section 259:60 Motor Vehicle. and Section 265:144 Riding on Bicycles.
**ATVs, Four-by-Fours and dirt bakes are prohibited in Balmoral under any circumstances and at any time of the year, including winter.**
We will assess fines. Fines are $100 for the first offense; $200 for the second and $500 for the third. LIENS WILL BE PLACED ON PROPERTIES IF FINES ARE NOT PAID.
**IF YOU SEE ANYONE OPERATING AN ATV OR DIRT BIKE IN BALMORAL, PLEASE CALL THE MOULTONBOROGH POLICE DEPARTMENT. MPD HAS FULL AUTHORITY TO PROSECUTE OFFENDERS ON BEHALF OF NH FISH AND GAME DEPARTMENT.**
It is the homeowner's responsibility to notify guests, renters, tenants and any other people using homes about this rule. Liability ultimately lies with the homeowner. Article VIII, Section VII of Balmoral By-laws states: "ATV's and Trail Bikes are banned in the community of Balmoral."
